How can I upload my photos?
There are two options for uploading photos:
This lets you quickly and simply choose the material and select the format, then upload your image and place your order. This approach means doing without individual and detailed editing in the Product Designer and is the quickest way of putting products in your shopping cart.
There are many options available in the designer for customising your product. The program lets you choose from various product types as well as effects, and it gives you an interactive preview. In preview mode you can view your own product in a realistic home environment.
What should I do if my photo is too big to upload?
If your image exceeds the maximum permitted size of 30MB, you can either create a file with a lower resolution (e.g. using Adobe Photoshop or IrfanView), or you can post your images to us on a CD ROM. Please note that we cannot return your data medium due to the huge numbers of orders that we process.

What can I do if the upload doesn't work?
Check the file size, your browser and internet speed. If you can't find the reason, you can send your photos to us by post on a CD ROM, or contact our Customer Care team for help.
When will the invoice amount be debited from my account?
As these are customised products, and thus not suitable for resale, we manufacturer on a cash in advance basis only.
Why is there a difference between software and online order prices for calendars and photo books?
The software and the online editor are two totally different ways to order; the online configuration tool fully automates the process of creating standard photo books which we can offer at these prices. If you order
Can I upload several photos at the same time?
Yes. The Product Designer lets you upload up to five images at the same time.
What exactly is a quick order?
Quick order lets you order your favourite product in just 3 steps - this is an easy and uncomplicated approach. Just follow the instructions "Choose material", "Choose format", "Choose image" and your photo will be in your shopping cart as soon as the upload completes. There isn't a faster way! Of course, you can then press "Edit" in the shopping cart to go to the Product Designer. This gives you the ability to preview your image in both modes. This in turn shows you what your order will look like.
When should I use the quick order feature?
The quick order feature is for customers who know exactly what product and what format they want to order.
How can I access the Product Designer?
You can access the Product Designer via the "Product Designer" menu in the main navigation links. But you can also access the Designer by following the "Design now" on any product page.
How can I load an image in Product Designer?
When you access the Product Designer, an image upload window pops up automatically. If you have already uploaded an image or multiple images you can access them here, too.
What options can I select for "Material"?
After uploading an image, you can select the material characteristics for your image via the "Material" item. You can press the "Use selection" option to use your favourite material.
What options can I select for "Format"?
The "Format" option provides a table with a choice of all product sizes. You can sort the formats by size, format, suitability for image and price. The number of stars in the Image suitability column additionally shows you how well suited your image is for the selected format (5 stars = very good, 1 star = unsuitable).
What options can I select for "Type"?
The "Type" option is only available for certain products including canvas, backlit / light box, acrylic and PVC sheet. You have a choice of different types here such as the material thickness or printed edges.
What options can I select for "Frame"?
You may be able to select a frame via the "Frame" option. Frames are optionally available for the following products: poster, laminated poster, canvas, Forex sheet, acrylic and dibond aluminum.
What can I do with the "Effects" option?
You can use the "Effects" option to print your image in black / white if needed.
What can I change in "Image options"?
You will find the Image options setting below the preview. This is where you set the printed area of the image and rotate the image. A selection with dotted lines shows you the part of the image to be printed. You can move the selection as needed, or rotate your image.
Can I crop / fit a photo?
There is no need for a crop / fit function in our new Product Designer. Simply choose in the Image options which area of the image you want to print, if your images aspect does not match the product format aspect. In the image preview you can see exactly how big your photo is and what part of it will be printed. This gives you full control!
How can I review my order?
To do so, select the "Preview mode" menu item in the Product Designer. Your photo will be displayed on a green wall. You can use the icon top left to change the color of the wall. Clicking the plus symbol lets you customize the room and thus simulate your home living situation.
How can I order multiple images at the same time?
After finishing designing a product and putting it in the shopping cart, you can return to the Product Designer via the "Design another product". You can easily order multiple, individual products in succession using this approach.
Can I save my order?
Sorry, you can't save your order. But while you are using the posterXXL site, all the images you upload are stored in the "Your images" box in the Product Designer. You can access this at any time without needing to upload again, until you terminate your internet session.
For which products can I redeem a voucher?
For any product except photo calendars and photobooks ordered via the software.
Where can I redeem my voucher?
You can redeem your voucher code directly in the shopping cart. Please enter the code in the corresponding box and click "Redeem".
What can I do if my voucher doesn't work?
Please check if you entered the code correctly. If your voucher includes a minimum order value, or limited validity data, please make sure that you are within the limits. This information may be printed on your voucher. If the details are correct but your voucher still doesnt work, please contact our customer service.
Can I redeem my voucher later on?
Unfortunately vouchers cannot be redeemed after the order is placed.
Can I redeem my voucher in cash?
Sorry, you cannot claim the voucher amount in cash.
What happens if I don't use up my voucher amount?
If you only use part of a voucher amount, the balance automatically expires.
Can vouchers be combined with other actions?
Vouchers can only be redeemed for a single action. They are not valid for free posters or in combination with a separate voucher action, e.g. via the newsletter.
Can I supply a different shipping address?
Of course you can specify a different shipping address. To do so, click the "Different shipping address" link on the "Address and payment data" page.
What should I do if I enter the wrong shipping address by mistake?
Unfortunately, your address can't be changed retrospectively due to fast order processing.
Can I attach a message to my delivery?
Yes. If your order is for another person, you can add a greeting. To do so, enter your personal message in the "Greeting text" box below "Different shipping address".
What payment options exist?
You can pay for your order by direct debit or credit card (VISA or Mastercard).
Can I pay cash on delivery for my order?
Sorry, COD is currently not possible.
Can I pay for my order in instalments?
Sorry, you can't pay for your order in instalments.
Where is the security code on my credit card?
The security code is on the rear of your credit card. Please enter only the last 3 digits.
